Harvest Seeds Ministry

Mission: Helping to Provide the Printed "Seeds of the Gospel" to the Ends of the Earth

Harvest Seeds Ministry is a Literature ministry that collects donated new and used Christian material, such as Bibles, Sunday School literature, devotional books, hymns, all types of Christian books and magazines, basic school supples, etc.  The material collected is sorted, boxed and sent to another ministry, Love Packages in Butler, Illinois, where it is sent to poor Third World English speaking countries to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Harvest Seeds Ministry's collection site is Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 1227 Mount Sinai Church Road, Shelby, NC 28152. Pat Hamrick is the coordinator for Harvest Seeds Ministry, Contact # 704-487-7518 or 704-472-5154

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." Hebrews 13:16 (NIV)

IOM

"IOM" stands for Intentional Outreach Mission. The key word is Intentional. We know the enemy would love to keep us so busy doing "church work" that we fail to do "the work of the church." And without a doubt the work of the church is being on mission with King Jesus. He made it absolutely clear in the "Great Commission" (Matt. 28:18-20) that we are to "go make disciples." So, IOM meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11:00 to share the gospel with lost souls, to follow up on prospects, and reach out to unchurched neighbors and friends.

Please join us every 3rd Saturday as we go to share and show the love of Jesus in our community and county.

Great Commission Prayer Center

The Great Commission Prayer Center (GCPC) is a room in our church dedicated to Kingdom-focused prayer!  The GCPC was launched on April 8, 2015 to intensify our efforts to be a Great Commission Church.

The sole purpose is to leverage our prayers to advance God's Kingdom both locally and globally. The goal is to impact

the lostness and push back the darkness in Cleveland County and beyond.

We strive to do this by meeting every Wednesday in the GCPC at 6:00. The dedicated prayer time includes specific seasons of prayer for the unsaved, Who's Your One, prodigals, missionaries, disciple-making, mission trips, and those we have partnered with on mission trips and projects. Please join us as we battle in prayer for lost souls and the advancement of God's Kingdom

God's Postal Service (GPS)

GPS stands for “God’s Postal Service” and is a cards-and-letters ministry that focuses on both in-reach and outreach.  Words of encouragement, sympathy, congratulations, welcome, etc. are written for individuals in our church, community and beyond each Wednesday at 6:30 PM.  Special prayer is lifted for each individual/family who will receive a card/letter that week.  This ministry meets upstairs in the Education building in the Gateway Class, room 206.
