How do you know if you are worldly?
Maybe you wonder is this something
I should do or not do - Is this right or wrong?
Questions to ask yourself
1. Is what I'm about to do a violation of scripture?
2. Does it take the sharpness, the edge,
the knee-ness off your spiritual life?
Ex: You may be watching too much ESPN,
Fox News, even the History Channel.
When you should be nourishing your spirit or
serving the Lord!
3. Can you ask God's blessings on it?
Can you do it for the glory of God?
*Anything you can't pray about you shouldn't be doing!
4. Would it be a stumbling block to someone else?
You say "But I can do this without it being
a problem for me" - That's not even the right
question!
Spiritual maturity ask, Is what I'm doing
hurting someone else around me?
5. The last question is.....
Would I want to be doing this when
Jesus Christ returns?
